My Fitness Journey

Hi, I’m James Gilbert, a 21-year-old student at Florida State University and a former competitive tennis player with a passion for fitness that goes well beyond the court. Over the last four years, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding the science of building muscle, strength training, and nutrition.

What started as a way to enhance my tennis performance grew into a deep commitment to mastering effective fitness principles like progressive overload, injury prevention, and balanced nutrition. 

Through hard work, hands-on experience, and extensive research, I’ve transformed my body and developed a strong understanding of what it takes to make real progress as an athlete. I’m certified through ExpertRating, which has further solidified my knowledge and given me the confidence to guide others.

I am now on a tennis coaching staff and have had the privilege of helping friends, fellow students, and junior tennis players create personalized routines and adopt healthier habits tailored to their unique goals. My mission is to share everything I’ve learned to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts elevate their performance and reach their full potential.
