I started as a competitive tennis player before ever picking up a weight. But as I pushed to compete at higher levels, I realized I needed more than just skill.

 I needed strength, speed, and resilience. That’s when I fell in love with training. Lifting didn’t just make me a better athlete, it changed the way I approached performance.

Now I help others do the same — whether it’s personal training or through tennis lessons.

How Strength Training Transformed My Tennis Game

Before I included strength training into my tennis routine, I was quick — but not explosive. I could rally for hours — but lacked power on my serve. Lifting changed all of that.

I built stronger legs for better court coverage, a more stable core for control, and upper-body power that translated into faster shots and fewer injuries.

Strength training took me from being a solid player to a serious threat on the court.
